So then only the five episodes must have been shown on TV, because somehow I don't think that TV networks would show the movie AND the five episodes as well. Thus I'm leaning more towards the theory that the movie was never broadcast in the U.S.A. As I have continued researching this issue, I've also learned that the VHS of "ThunderCats Ho" the movie was only released in U.K. Yes, I believe you are both on the money. I saw them much later on VHS so I don't know all the details about the TV movie. I never saw the TCats cartoons during their original run.
